A great part of spending time in Boston is attending some of the thousands of events taking place every month.  Here are eight calendars showing  some of them.

 

 


Boston Business Events Calendar
Happy First Day of Fall  This is basically the on-line version of the Boston Globe Calendar. It is updated daily and contains recommendations

 

The Boston Calendar

 

 The Boston Calendar is a listing of "cool" things for college students.  Many of the events are free, and most are all-ages. 
  The city of Boston itself has a very complete events calendar.  It includes concerts, festivals and free classes. Note the free ESL conversations groups and other events at the Boston Public Library branches around the city. This information is also on the BPL calendar listed below.
The Boston Phoenix is a free weekly paper with tons of listings of events and activities in Boston, plus interesting articles.  This is a link to their Editor's Picks (recommendations)
  Boston Happenings Calendar - a good one! Lots of weird events not listed anywhere else. Includes a wide variety of cultural, music and intellectual events.  They also have a BUSINESS EVENTS CALENDAR!

The Kennedy School of Government at Harvard sponsors many different events open to the public. The JFK Jr. Forum presents interesting speakers almost every evening at 6 pm. Here is the schedule of events.
 
Boston Central has tons of fun things to do around Boston, especially for kids and students. You can view by date or by type of activity.

 This is the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's events calendar. Lots of the events are free, and some are even understandable by normal people.
